Black nightshade
Black nightshade is an annual plant commonly found in wooded areas, lawns and undisturbed areas.  The poisonous part of the plant are the immature berries.  This poison affects calves, sheep, goats, poultry and humans.
The foliage, if eaten in large quantities, can be poisonous to certain livestock species.  The amount of alkaloid, which is the poison in this plant, varies depending upon the climate and soil conditions under which it is grown.  Symptoms include deadening of the nerves, dilated pupils, cramps, convulsions and possible eventual death.
