The Chat 'n Chew Cafe (Purdue University)

The original Chat 'n Chew Cafe Web site was a source of comprehensive timely agronomic information from Purdue and other land-grant universities around the U.S. The Cafe was conceived in 1995 by R.L. (Bob) Nielsen, State Extension Corn Specialist at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Dr. Nielsen retired from Purdue on 31 December 2022, after 40 years of service to Purdue and Indiana Agriculture.

The Chat 'n Chew Cafe has since been decommissioned in deference to "The Kernel" developed by my successor, Dr. Dan Quinn in 2021. For the immediate future, you can still access many of my Corny News articles at my "Corny News Compendium" Web page or indirectly from Dan's Web site.

As the developer, proprietor and chief bottle washer of the Chat 'n Chew Cafe, Bob extends his sincerest appreciation to all the faithful patrons of the Cafe all these many years. It was his distinct privilege to serve each and every one of you!
